According to reports received by the Azerbaijan People's Human Rights Organisation in Iran (AHRAZ), Ministry of Intelligence agents arrested Milad Balsini at the end of an investigative hearing and transferred him to the Tabriz Intelligence Office for further interrogation and handling of his case.
According to the information received, the charges against this civil activist are said to relate to "sending videos or material to social networks" and to activity online.
According to the report, Intelligence Office agents had previously also gone to Milad Balsini's home in Tabriz and searched it, seizing a number of his personal belongings and documents, including his mobile phone, laptop, tablet, hard drive, identity and educational documents and other electronic equipment.
It has also been reported that during the visit to Balsini's home, the agents put him under pressure and threats for some time in order to obtain his phone's passcode.
According to information received by AHRAZ, Balsini was also beaten and threatened during the arrest and, as a result, suffered injury and bruising to his hand or leg.
